Within the field of plastic surgery I conduct research on various topics in reconstructive surgery. I am currently involved in research concerning the effects of radiotherapy on direct breast reconstruction. I am also principle investigator of a randomized study for postoperative treatment after free flap surgery for lower leg reconstruction.
