During my Bachelor in Medicine (Erasmus MC), I had my first experience with clinical research. After my Bachelor, I started a PhD trajectory: the IMPROVE Handstudy. This is a multicentre clinical study, aiming to compare the occurrence of upper extremity dysfunction following 5 French (slender) transradial coronary intervention (TR-PCI) vs. conventional TRPCI, using 6 French materials. The highly clinical and multidisciplinary nature of the IMPROVE study is both enjoyable and challenging.
