Pediatric plastic surgery
A large proportion of our daily practice as plastic surgeons in the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital encompasses treating congenital defects such as harelips (cleft lip and palates), skull deformities (craniosynostosis), small ears (microtia), and hand- and feet deformities. We conduct various studies to improve outcomes of these relatively rare conditions in children. Furthermore, we are involved in several researches in the field of sarcoma surgery at the Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology.
