The PURE Foundation was founded in February 2024 to improve plastic surgical care for patients with congenital defects, injuries resulting from accidents, and cancer (treatments). Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals affected by these conditions, both in the Netherlands and abroad, through education and the stimulation of research.

By combining education and research, the PURE Foundation strives to create a worldwide network of professionals and partners dedicated to advancing reconstructive plastic surgery and ensuring that more patients—regardless of where they live—can benefit from high-quality, compassionate care.
